Avani Yoga Classes and Yoga Therapy nurture peace and well-being.  We support you in caring for the health of your body and your mind and are sensitive to your individual needs and abilities, whether you choose to join a group yoga class or to come for one-to-one Yoga Therapy.

Avani Nature Therapy
 is undertaken with deep love and respect for the Earth: Nature is the guide, the teacher and the therapist.  We guide you into conscious connection with the healing energies of Nature, knowing that human well-being is inseparable from that of the Earth.

Council - 
e sit together in Council to share our feelings, experiences and stories in a genuine, heart-centred way.  Everyone has an equal voice.  Council strengthens our relationships and deepens our understanding of ourselves, one another and our world.

The Peace of Wild Things

When despair for the world grows in me
and I wake in the night at the least sound
in fear of what my life and my children’s lives may be,
I go and lie down where the wood drake
rests in his beauty on the water, 
and the great heron feeds.
I come into the peace of wild things
who do not tax their lives with forethought of grief. 
I come into the presence of still water.
And I feel above me the day-blind stars
waiting with their light. 
For a time I rest in the grace of the world, 
and am free.
